Raul benitez


Raul Benitez is the lead programmer for Full Spectrum Features’ Chicagoland Shorts. He also currently programs for Comfort Film at Comfort Station Logan Square and at The Nightingale Cinema, while working as a screener for The Chicago Underground Film Festival,  The Twisted Oyster Film Festival, and CIMM Fest. Raul was named on the Jury for the Cortadito Shorts Film Showcase at the Gene Siskel Film Center.  He is also a member of the Panorama Latinx Community Council and IFP Chicago. He has previously volunteered for The Chicago Cinema Society and has partnered or programmed with Chicago Film MakersLittle Mexico Film FestivalFirst Nations Film FestivalReeling Film FestivalChicago Film Archives, Beguiled Cinema, La Guarimba Film FestivalSouth Side Projections, DollHouse DIY, The Wretched Nobles of the Exiled DynastyKartemquin FilmsACREtvMoving Image ArtsChicago Latino Film Festival, Cinema Culture and Nerivela Mexico. In 2015 and 2017, Raul was named in the Chicago Screen Gems by New City and The Chicago Reader.
